I'm thankful...
...that my son "merely" has croup instead of the swine flu
...that the emergency room was exceptionally quiet and we could be seen right away
...that the staff was friendly and helpful
...and that my son is now soundly asleep and breathing freely

Poor thing! Hope he gets better soon.
Much better today, thanks. He's still hoarse, but breathing normally, and back at full energy. We'll still under self-imposed quarantine for a few days, though.
Hmm...there's a bit of a downside to having co-bloggers who are parents, isn't there? We've all been struggling with sick kids lately. 'Tis the season, sigh.
